We sat,
we stood,
we kneeled,
and we watched
as our six young men fought to win at the State level.
Their trip to the University of Illinois Assembly Hall did not end as they had planned for our "Shelbyville Six".
But to them belongs the right to embrace the moment and to be proud of their determination, hard work, and their courage needed to even begin the journey to this day...
