Mom asked me today about the tree that has seeds that float down and the kids would stick them to their noses.
I knew it had to be a maple tree seed,
and on my walk later that day,
found a tree next door covered with just such little "helicopters".
I brought one in to show her,
and she confirmed that this is the seed she was asking about.
The little things that children do in nature are passed on from generation to generation.
Make sure your children know what to do with these little seeds.
