"I'm convinced that every boy, in his heart, would rather steal second base than an automobile."

that is his favorite...

"Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go." So proud of how the girls played tonight!
(Cassidy: #11 ~~ Marley: #31) ~Nancy (Nannie) ~ 17/365 “Somewhere behind the athlete you've become and the hours of practice and the coaches who have pushed you is a little girl who fell in love with the game and never looked back... play for her.” Love Sadie's attitude,
and even more, her smile... ~Nancy (Nana) ~ 36/365 "Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light." Shannnon, Ashton, and Sydney joined me to walk the annual luminary walk on the Dacey Trail. Cups ot chocolate and hot apple cider warmed cold fingers, while a huge bonfire warmed cold toes. Linked arm-in-arm walking 2.5 miles warmed my heart... ~Nancy ~ 24/365
"The one thing that can solve most of our problems is dancing." Shannon and Mike had planned a date for tonight, and while they were gone, I took on the responsibility of delivering, taking pictures, and picking up Ashton from her 8th Grade Dance at Northward Middle School in Tuscola. So much hair and so many curls. Mom is a whiz at creating just the right look... The right look takes more than an hour... ...but the final smile makes it all seem like seconds. "Dancing inspires my music. Having your girlfriends all together and just being free and happy. Leaving my girl with my phone number and wishes for an evening of laughs and nothing but good memories...
~Nancy (Grandma MI) ~ 23/365 "Be bold. If you are going to make an error, make a doozy, and don't be afraid to hit the ball." Marley did a great job playing in her first volleyball game as a 7th grader.
We are so proud of you! <3 ~Nancy (Nannie) ~ 13/365 "I think that from the time you start playing sports as a child you see that your responsibility to your team is to play the best that you can play as an individual... What a great weekend watching Jack skate in St. Louis with Team Illinois.
Lots of action and family time including Mark and Taylor! ~Nancy ~ 10/365 |
