"I'll take the dirt road-it's all I know After subbing in the morning, I took the back roads home.
It had been raining off and on all morning, and it was nice to watch the sky as it began to clear. I remember my mother taking time with each visit to mend my family's clothes.

This week they cover the meadow on the trail. Snow is in Friday's forecast. If it falls, I'll try to get a picture of these "beauties" poking through the snow cover. ~Nancy ~ 4.2.2016 "The bee collects honey from flowers in such a way as to do the least damage or destruction to them, and he leaves them whole, undamaged and fresh, just as he found them." Tom's bees were busy this morning.
Their pollen sacks are filled from their harvest from the blooming dandelions. The countryside is full of these yellow blooms with little possibility of herbicide to control them. Just another reason for our search for a little country space to call our own. ~Nancy ~ 4.1.2016 |
