"February is merely as long as is needed to pass the time until March." Winter's open house...
Still waiting for the sun. ~Nancy ~ 2.17.2016 “Life is always a rich and steady time when you are waiting for something to happen or to hatch.” The countryside is covered in 4 inches of fresh snow. It feels like spring is taking its sweet time.
Nevertheless, this nest is the season's promise that the cycle will continue... ~Nancy ~ 2.14.2016 “A single sunbeam is enough to drive away many shadows.” The day started out with clouds and I dragged myself out the door for a walk.

One last picture on a rainy day before we find a home for it... ~Nancy ~ 1.9.2016 "Time spent amongst trees is never wasted" Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love trees.
This beautiful majesty has stood through many storms and trials and is a living testimony of endurance. I stopped to take this picture as the owner of the land watched me. He explained that a storm took the top limbs, but it still blooms every spring and is full of leaves throughout the summer. I am in awe... ~Nancy ~ 1.7.2016 "Each moment is a place you've never been." I left the house before the sun was up.
I needed to meet Shannon for a road trip to a workshop this morning. I saw the pink in my rear view window, and when I looked over my shoulder, I knew I had to take the time to pull over. The things we miss when we sleep past dawn... ~Nancy ~ 1.6.2016 |
