 “April prepares her green traffic light and the world thinks go.”  The crocuses have spread and are covering the front flower bed.
White, purple, golden, and tiny violet stars. The first herald of spring... ~Nancy ~ 91/365  "A sap-run is the sweet good-by of winter. It is the fruit of the equal marriage of the sun and frost.”  After school, I took some time for a walk through Douglas-Hart Nature Center.
The sap is running and they have tapped the maples. A bucket of sweet goodness... ~Nancy ~ 90/365 "I'm convinced that every boy, in his heart, would rather steal second base than an automobile."  First base...  Safely back to first...  Stealing second...  At shortstop. Garrett's a junior now.
