We drove through lots of country and Dillon, Colorado to walk the trail around the Lower Cataract Lake.
The topographical map showed 2 miles, but with side hikes through meadows and aspen groves, it was closer to 3 1/2.

A few aspen leaves are turning yellow, but still early for the fall colors.
The good news is that wildflowers are still blooming in the meadows and woods.

Coming out of the woods to head around
