"Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you." I have to grab a walk when I can.
The sun sets quickly at the end of a very short day... ~Nancy ~ 314/365 Saturday Night Live Transcripts We had a great day! First to watch Tuscola's Eric Ponder and the Shelbyville Boys XC Team run in the State Cross-Country Meet in Peoria. Eric is one of Shannon's former 4th grade students, and she is one of his XC coaches. We were beyond proud of his capturing the Second Place Title as he crossed the finish line. Our next stop was Metamora High School where we watched our grandson, Caleb Brachbill, a senior, play his last game against Peoria Central in the 2014 Illinois Football Playoffs. It was a great game with a final score of 24-20. Even though Metamora did not advance, we watched as Caleb, #19, play with all of his heart. We are beyond proud of him!

Which means lots of snow and bitter cold. We can do this... ~~Nancy ~ 304/365 "The third day comes a frost, a killing frost. First frost = flannel sheets on the bed.
I'm as ready as I can be. I can't fight it anymore... ~Nancy 303/365 "They say that shadows of deceased ghosts Sondra decorates for every holiday.
I would have loved to have had her as a parent volunteer in my classroom... ~Nancy ~ 302/365 "The hazy, cloudless skies of Indian Summer. We may be the last town where you find leaves burning in the fall...
