"I am struck by the simplicity of light in the atmosphere in the autumn,
as if the earth absorbed none, and out of this profusion of dazzling light came the autumnal tints."

Beware: The 10 tines of this heavy-duty fork make all the difference in stable cleaning. Other pitch forks have too much space between the tines to be effective and the plastic 'stable forks' don't have the strength to deal with muddy messes. When you own horses, you can't do without it.
And the old ones are the best... ~Nancy ~ 301/365 “The highest reward for man’s toil is not what he gets for it, but what he becomes by it.” The sun is shining.
The fields are dry. It's time to farm. ~Nancy ~ 300/365 "A dog teaches a boy fidelity, perseverance, and to turn around three times before lying down." We spent the afternoon with my new friend, Brycen.
Is there anything better on a fall day than rolling in the leaves with your two best friends? ~Nancy ~ 299/365 "O hushed October morning mild, I woke up in Germantown Hills where Mark and Julie live.

We love you... ~Nancy ~ aka "Nanna" ~ 297/365

I loved the afternoon and learning about the gas tank trick. I love you. Nana ~Nancy ~ 296/365 "It was one of those perfect English autumnal days which occur more frequently in memory than in life. A morning walk through the woods...
~Nancy ~ 295/365 “Nature is the art of God.” Our little aspen tree is feeling fall.
We have our very own piece of Colorado in the Riddle Arboretum... ~Nancy ~ 294/365 “Every child is an artist, I took a walk down Western Avenue over lunch. This little bench and a bucket of chalk was left on the sidewalk along the way. Many of the students pass this bench as they walk to school, and today was a beautiful fall day to walk. "Angel" had left her bright sun with her signature. Thank you to whoever lives in this house for the bench and the chalk. In the words of Albert Einstein, "Creativity is contagious, pass it on” ~Nancy ~ 293/365 |
