We stopped at the Willard Hotel and visited the lobby.
The legend is that President Grant would visit the hotel for brandy and cigars where he would be met with "lobbyists" who would try to talk with him about their "interests". The following article makes the case that this is a myth, but the lobby was a sweet pause in our walk.
