Tony has brought a new spirit to Shelbyville. Treadway Clay and The Artisans Galleria is an art gallery and ceramic studio that features regional and local artists. Here you can see an example of his talent in creating ceramic pieces and a print from his Illinois Fresh Water Fish Print series. We're excited about The Galleria. Two more days. There are ornaments to be made and Christmas crafts to complete. They have to be just perfect because everyone knows that they will hang on your mom's tree as long as she has a Christmas tree. They will be cherished and carefully wrapped in tissue paper each year to await the next. The best part of glitter? At the end of the day, I am covered with it, and I can imagine that I am going to prom. Counting down. Two more days... ~Nancy ~ 351/365 I drove home through the country.
The roads were clear, and I needed something interesting in my view of the road ahead. I had no idea where I was, but as long as I was heading west and kept track of when I would turn north and south, I have always been able to find my way home. The most important thing is that I get there before dark. I'm happy to add that I made it! ~Nancy ~350/365 "WITH potent north winds rushing swiftly down, The "foggy-frost" was beautiful!
Images just outside the school was all we had time for before the sun went down... ~Nancy ~ 349/365 Earlier in the day, the sun shone bright. Standing at the kitchen window, I could feel its warmth. Outside, the snow was freezing and now it crunches with every step. At no other time does the air feel as clean. ~Nancy ~ 348/365
It just reminded me of Linus and his blanket covering the little tree that Charlie Brown had picked out.

This time they got it right, and as I walked out of building, it began to fall as pelting sleet. Fifteen minutes into my commute home, it turned to "real, live snow". The view from my front porch changed in a hurry as Zacc's Japanese Maple was quickly covered with snow. The weather forecasters' prediction was on time, but it seems like Mother Nature is a little early with her winter weather... ~Nancy ~ 347/365 |
