Yes, Tuscola is flat.
Really, really flat. The nicest thing about that is you have a perfect view of every sunrise and sunset. This is the sunset I have the privilege of watching as I take "Buddy the Dog" on his walk every morning. Nice... ~Nancy ~ 241/365 ...away from "First Place".
Meet Freshman Emma Henderson. This is her first ever cross-country race, and she won the girls' race with a time of 22:47. That was thirty seconds ahead of the next runner. I'm back home for the weekend. The first thing I did was check the state of my garden, and with the return of hot weather, and without my care, some of the flowers were under stress. The Lavender and Dusty Miller are doing just fine, though. I love the contrast of these two plants side-by-side, and had promised myself I would capture them in a picture before the end of the summer. With the sound of the cicadas in the late afternoon, I can tell we are beginning to see the end... ~Nancy ~ 234/365 |
