Millers

After a week of school in Tuscola,
I'm back home for the weekend.
The first thing I did was check the state of my garden,
and with the return of hot weather,
and without my care,
some of the flowers were under stress.
The Lavender and Dusty Miller are doing just fine, though.

I love the contrast of these two plants side-by-side,
and had promised myself I would capture them in a picture before the end of the summer.
With the sound of the cicadas in the late afternoon,
I can tell we are beginning to see the end...
