Today Ron Ghere and I photographed all the trees in our Arboretum.
When we opened the gate,
we were surprised to see the wildflower garden filled with color.
Some of the flowers were new to us,
and our thought is that different flowers will grow and bloom in sync with the weather that supports them. We knew this spring has been different than any others the arboretum has had.
It was cloudy and cold when we arrived,
but by the time we finished,
the sun appeared and began to dry up the raindrops.
Lucky for me, we decided to photograph the flowers before they dried.
