Dutchman's Breeches

I had to work hard to find forty consecutive minutes without rain to take my walk.
The reward was not only the time outside,
but finding the first wildflowers blooming along the trail.

Last week one of the First Grade students asked me what was my favorite season.
"It depends on when you are asking me."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, after winter, my favorite season is spring and after summer, my favorite season is fall."

Today, spring is definitely my favorite season...
