I have been looking at these hay bales on my commute to Riddle Elementary School for over a month.
I pulled off the road more than once to photograph them,
but was never happy with the results.
Tonight, I tried one more time.
The autumn-colored leaves were gone,
and it was getting dark,
but the sunset was amazing.
I had no picture and was running out of light.
Even on this county road,
there were no cars,
and it felt as peaceful as it looks...
