Findlay Grade School

Findlay Grade School is another school that was moved after consolidation.
The building is still in use as an antique business, but today it was closed.
For now, the equipment still stands in the playground,
but on this sunny day, the sounds of children laughing and playing are gone.

I Love the "Old School" photos! A friend of mine calls such places "glorious ruins" because you can see that they were once places filled with so much life. Without sounding too preachy- the metaphor applies to us as well.

I love your metaphor, Patrick, but that can't apply to you, yet.
You're way too young, and very much filled with life!
I am enjoying this project, and it helps fill the void when winter has set in, and the Midwest is, well, brown.
(You know what I am talking about!)
