and there are people who will miss it terribly.
My sister is the port commissioner of the Portland Airport,
and when it was decided that the carpet was in bad need of replacement,
it was discovered that this carpet has somewhat of a "cult following".
There are t-shirts with this pattern,
and socks,
and a Facebook Page.
So, next time you travel through the PDX,
stop and take a picture of yourself standing on the carpet,
