Poults

Marley and I took a walk on the trail.
I had seen this mama and her babies last week,
but this time Marley spotted them first.
We both decided that a close-up was worth the chance of poison ivy and chiggers.
We estimate that Mrs. Turkey Hen had about six or seven poults,
but they were moving way too quickly for us to count.

A nice soapy shower, and now the post...
