The Buckeye Butterfly

The Common Buckeye or simply Buckeye (Junonia coenia) is a butterfly in the family Nymphalidae.

I had a chance to enjoy another walk through Douglas-Hart Nature Center this morning.
The sounds of insects fill the air with the seasons' changes.
This was one butterfly that posed long enough to allow me to get my shot for the day...
